He volleyed home to put Spurs 2-1 up with just five minutes to go. Alli received the ball just outside of the box, kept it in the air with a cushioned knee and then flicked the ball effortlessly over the head of the onrushing Mile Jedinak. He then proceeded to volley the ball low and hard into the bottom corner before rushing away to wildly celebrate.
