Diego Costa proved a thorn in the flesh of Arsenal once again by being the major actor in the English Premier League fixture on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium in London.
The Chelsea striker scored the only goal as the reigning Premier League champions beat the 10-man Gunners 1-0, a result which leaves the Gunners in third behind both Leicester and Manchester City.
Having tussled with Gabriel and Laurent Koscielny in September’s reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge with Gabriel getting the red card, Costa was again the villain from an Arsenal perspective as he proved the catalyst in Chelsea’s win.
The Spain striker’s was brought down by Per Mertesacker on 18 minutes which saw him getting the red card.
Arsenal’s coach, Arsene Wenger was left frustrated having warned his team before the march to prepare for Costa’s antics but unfortunately they couldn’t contain the Spanish striker.
