The supreme court has dismissed Stella Oduah and Andy Uba from the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The court on Friday upheld the nullification of their election as the senators representing Anambra North and Anambra South senatorial zones respectively.
Both Oduah and Uba are of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Earlier, the apex court had sacked Uche Ekwunife, also elected on the platform of PDP, but she has since decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC) on whose platform she is trying to contest the reelection.
By the rulling today, all the 3 PDP senators from Anambra have now had their election nullified.
